{"id":4685,"date":"2024-07-11T15:20:40","date_gmt":"2024-07-11T13:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/institutdelafinancedurable.com\/ifd-and-epe-publish-the-proceedings-of-the-second-defi-symposium\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T17:32:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T16:32:36","slug":"ifd-and-epe-publish-the-proceedings-of-the-second-defi-symposium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/financefortomorrow.com\/en\/ifd-and-epe-publish-the-proceedings-of-the-second-defi-symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"IFD and EPE publish the proceedings of the second DEFi symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<!-- START OF : Composant : block-periscope-theme-section-composant-14-bloc-contenu-texte.php -->\n<div class=\"container\" data-component=\"14-bloc-contenu-texte\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Entreprises pour l&#8217;Environnement (EPE) and the Institut de la Finance Durable (IFD) today publish the <strong>proceedings of the second edition of the DEFi symposium &#8216;Dialogue Entreprise-Finance sur les solutions et actions pour la nature&#8217;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This day of debates strengthened the dialogue between companies and financial players on the subject of biodiversity, revealing a number of major trends:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"offset-lg-1\">\n<li>COP15 raised awareness of the fact that our economy is dependent on biodiversity; companies and financial institutions have begun to mobilize to redirect financial flows in a way that is more favorable to nature.<\/li>\n<li>with the release of the first version of the TNFD and the entry into force of the CSRD, reporting frameworks and biodiversity metrics are being consolidated.<\/li>\n<li>the emergence of one or more biodiversity credit markets could be one of the levers enabling private finance to be channelled towards nature conservation and restoration.<\/li>\n<li>the growing need for biomass requires adapted forest governance and management methods.<\/li>\n<li>the commitments of companies and financial players to combat deforestation have been highlighted and should be multiplied.
