Our missions

The Institut de la Finance Durable’s mission is to enable the entire Paris financial center to collectively accelerate and promote action on issues relating to the transition to energy, ecology and society. The Institut de la Finance Durable is a forum for synergy and reflection, and a catalyst for action. The ecological transition is both a necessity and an opportunity for the economy: at the confluence of these issues and stakeholders, the IFD’s fundamental objective is to define a roadmap shared by the Paris financial center. The IFD disseminates its work and its position papers at European and international levels.

Our missions :

• Propose ways of financing the ecological transition
• Federate and accelerate the Paris financial center’s actions in favor of sustainable finance.
• Promote ongoing dialogue between financial institutions, businesses and public authorities to help transform the economy
• Promote Paris as an international benchmark for sustainable finance
