Mapping French players in development financing
Finance for Tomorrow today publishes its ‘Cartographie des acteurs français pour le financement du développement’. The aim of this work, which stems from the ‘Finance for Development’ taskforce, is to promote French expertise and encourage synergies between project finance players in order to accelerate the transition in emerging countries. We also propose recommendations to eliminate the obstacles encountered by players in the ecosystem and intensify the dynamics of the Paris financial center in the run-up to COP26!

This cartography presents 40 key players in the French ecosystem and their position in the life cycle of a sustainable infrastructure project in a developing country. The entities mentioned in this document have been selected according to a set of criteria. A questionnaire, supplemented by a series of interviews, was used as the basis for referencing the players. F4T encourages entities that may have been omitted to come forward for inclusion in future editions.

However, French expertise in the specific segment of development financing is often poorly identified or even unknown, and represents a considerable opportunity for growth and influence for the Paris financial center.Discover the mapping and the recommendations that emerge from it to intensify this market dynamic.
