Accelerate the mobilization of private financing to support the climate transition in emerging and developing countries.
OBJECTIVES
- Identify the main issues involved in financing the climate transition in emerging and developing countries, and propose solutions to strengthen the mobilization of the private sector.
- Identify the conditions for promoting public-private financing (blended finance) in order to limit investment risks and accelerate the development of infrastructure and energy transition projects in emerging countries.
- Organize consultation meetings with international organizations (UN, OECD, IMF, AFD, UNDP, etc.) within the framework of development financing.
